Beer at 39,000ft - A Mile High Review
The Taiwan Beer is surprisingly light for a typical 5% amber lager. The flavor was a bit on the bland side but that is actually how I prefer a lager so it worked out. This particular Taiwan Beer that I had was some kind of special edition which was only distributed by China Airlines. They do also sell this beer in almost any street corner in Taipei with the only difference being the logo on the bottom of the can.
So why the ugly table and purple seats? As you may have guessed it, this was taken in an airplane. Although I've been to Taipei more times than I have fingers and toes, I have never actually tried their beer before (Dum Dum Dummmmm!). Finally on our layover to Australia, luckly we were flying a Taiwan based airline and whatta ya know, they have the beer! Yes, I know, nothing exciting about watching in flight movies while enjoying a beer but oh boy, you can't beat a 39,000ft view.
